What is Buyer's Agent Hotline?
Buyer’s Agent Hotline is Australia’s first Buyer’s Agent “Lite” service with direct, on-call access to a licensed Buyer’s Agent for advice, a second opinion and negotiation support, without the cost of a traditional full-service agent.
How is this different from a traditional buyer's agent?
A traditional buyer’s agent does everything for you, searching, inspecting, negotiating, paperwork. They charge a fee of $12,000+ or around 2% of the purchase price. We’re for buyers who are happy to do their own searching and inspecting, but want an expert on call for advice, questions and negotiation when it matters. If you’d rather hand over the whole process, we also offer a Full Buyer’s Agent Service.

What exactly is a Buyer's Agent?
A Buyer’s Agent is a licensed real estate professional who acts for the buyer, not the seller. Helping with property advice, due diligence, pricing strategy and negotiation to secure the best possible deal.
Do I need a full-service buyer's agent, or is Hotline enough?
If you’re comfortable searching for and inspecting properties yourself but want expert guidance, a second opinion, or negotiation support along the way, our Buyers Agent Lite packages are built for you. If you want someone to manage the entire process end to end, our Full Buyer’s Agent Service is the better fit.
What packages do you offer?
Buyers Agent on Call, Negotiation Only, Vendor Advocate on Call, a one-off Buyer’s Agent Consultation and a Full Buyer’s Agent Service. See our Packages page for full details and pricing.
How much does it cost?
Our packages range from a $375 one-off strategy call up to $1,495 for six weeks of on-call access, or $6,600 for our Negotiation Only service. Full-service buyer’s agent quotes start from $10,000. Full pricing is on our Packages page.
Is there a contract or lock-in period?
No. Our subscription packages can be cancelled at any time so theres no long-term commitment.
Can I get a refund if I cancel?
Subscription packages can be cancelled at any time, but fees already paid are non-refundable.
How do I contact my Buyer's Agent?
By phone or email, within your package’s contact hours. Once you sign up, you’ll be connected directly with your dedicated agent.
What are your contact hours?
Generally 8am–7pm, Monday to Friday, by appointment.
Can I pay by invoice instead of online?
Yes. If you’d rather not purchase online, call us on 0429 138 605 or email us and we’ll arrange an invoice.
Who founded Buyer's Agent Hotline?
Chad Dunn, a licensed Buyer’s Agent with over 26 years’ experience helping buyers across the Newcastle region. Chad created Buyer’s Agent Hotline to make expert property advice affordable and accessible for buyers who don’t need, or don’t want to pay for a full-service agent.
Are your agents licensed?
Yes. All of our Buyer’s Agents and Vendor Advocates are fully licensed real estate professionals (Real Estate Corp. Licence #10117326).
Do you help with finance and pre-approval?

Do you help sellers too?
Yes! Our Vendor Advocate on Call package gives sellers the same kind of on-call access to an experienced advocate for advice, a second opinion and help navigating your sales campaign. We will never act on behalf of the buyer and seller of the same property, that’s not cool.
What's the Negotiation Only package?
A one-off service for buyers who’ve already found their property and want a licensed agent to negotiate on their behalf. Ideal if you’d rather not deal with the sales agent directly. See our Negotiation Only page for full details.
Do you inspect properties or attend auctions on my behalf?
Our Lite packages are advice- and negotiation-based. We don’t attend inspections or auctions on your behalf. If you want an agent to handle inspections and bidding for you, our Full Buyer’s Agent Service covers this.
Does Buyer's Agent Hotline support any charities?
Yes. A portion of every subscription sold is donated to Sleapy’s Foundation, a Newcastle-based charity supporting people and families facing illness, crisis or serious hardship.
